Our mind, will, emotions, and the physical body are linked together with our spiritual life. Our physical symptoms relate to emotional struggles and vice versa. When we have something as minor as a cold, or a life-threatening illness, emotional and physical exhaustion manifests and takes a toll on our bodies. But the Word of God says that we are victorious! So how do these two seemingly opposing circumstances come together? The enemy is wreaking havoc on God’s children, attempting to chain them down with heavy yokes. The information can be conflicting, but possibly the most heartbreaking is that Christians today are living with debt, financial burdens, chronic health issues, depression, and anxiety, to name just a few. Today, there seems to be a myriad of investment opportunities, as well as there are diets. We are transformed by the renewing of our mind.Tithing is Old Testament law and isn’t required anymore.More than likely you have heard something similar to the following statements: Regarding Money and Finances. Is there a connection between Health and Wealth? Regarding our health and bodies, we see God’s initial thoughts and declarations going all the way back to the garden when He proclaimed that mankind was “made in His image, and it was good.” In the four Gospels, 1 out of every 10 verses directly relates to money or possessions. In these parables, He discussed how to handle both our money and our possessions. Jesus talked about money in 16 of His 38 parables. ![]() The Bible has a lot to say about money, finances, and how to care for our bodies. ![]()
